Creative Therapies Craft Club is a new development in tCAS. From March 2021 Creative Therapies Craft Club will be running craft sessions, initially through Zoom and when the COVID situation allows, face to face.

Who is it for?

If you are house-bound, feeling down, or lonely then Creative Therapies Craft Club may be just the thing to give you a sense of purpose and enjoyment. It is run by people who love craft activities and who will share their enthusiasm with you.

Do you need experience?

No, not at all, it’s for beginners and those who love crafts but may not have the materials or who need some encouragement to get going (again).

How can I get involved?

Use our Contact page to let us know that you would like to join in or email: craftclubcolchester@outlook.com. If you have experience in different crafts, ‘Contact’ tCAS and you could help run some sessions. You don’t need any equipment or materials, these will be provided.

When does it take place?

The second and fourth Wednesday in the month at 11.00am till 1pm.

Where does it take place?

During lockdown it will be on Zoom: Room No: 772 910 5730; Password: tcasjoin

Once Covid19 is under control it will take place on the first floor of the Coop Bank on the High Street, Colchester, (next to Fenwicks). Disabled access is available.

How does it work?

The materials and kit will be delivered to you (during Covid).

Cost

No cost for the materials you use, any left over will be collected and used again by someone else.

Your commitment

Some preparation may be needed before the session (e.g. painting a tin in readiness).
